The Hiatus is Over!

Hello, lovely people!

 Yesterday, July 11th of 2018, I was (still am) so pumped, because my all-time favorite band twenty one pilots is now officially back from their year-long hiatus! I know it may seem silly to make a whole blog post simply about a band, but I'm so happy. I've been freaking out like crazy.

 The band released two new singles yesterday, Jumpsuit, as well as Nico And The Niners. Both are total jams and gosh- I am just seriously so EXCITED.
 I've been a fan of twenty one pilots (it's un-capitalized on purpose- it's how the name of band is stylized) for quite a while now and the hiatus had me going crazy, so I'm super excited that they're coming back. I love all of their other music, but it's nice to have some new tunes to jam to.

 The video for Jumpsuit is frankly a little bizarre, a little scary, but also really fantastic; it's intriguing and despite being nearly 5 minutes along, it feels like it goes by in a breeze. The song itself is so infectiously catchy and soul-wrenching (the best way I could think of to describe it). There's a lot of little hidden things, answered questions, and new questions that need answered.
 Nico And The Niners is a super wonderful song too, and you can really tell that these two bleed into each other. It's powerful, and it has a slightly grungey feel that reminds me of a mixture of both the Vessel and Blurryface eras.
 They really outdid themselves with their comeback, in my opinion; they've released some really great music and I can't wait for the full album, which comes out on October 5th, 2018.

 I think I'm going to save up some money and try to take my family to go see them for their Bandito tour; I just love this band so much. Their music has changed my life, and I can't wait to see what direction they're headed in.
