Miniature Snowcones DIY

Hello lovelies!

Here recently my little siblings and I whipped up some mini snow cones! It was really cool but VERY, VERY sweet- nearly overpowering, honestly. But I thought I'd share the recipe we used, and some pictures from it! It was a lot of fun.

Snow Cone Syrup

ingredients-1 package of Kool-Aid powder mix
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup water

instructions1) Combine sugar and water in a pan on stove top, bring to boil.
2) Remove from heat and sprinkle in punch mix.
3)  Stir until the powder is completely dissolved.
4) Let cool; either room-temperature or for better results, in fridge.
5) It's ready to use!

We personally just used a blender and made a mixture of hard-and-powdery ice for our snow cones. If you have a snow cone maker, use that, otherwise a blender works just as well. :) Now, onto pictures!

This is the mixture of sugar-and-water that we used. I took this right after we poured the sugar in, which is why it looks almost milky-white.

These are the Kool-Aid packets we got. We used Strawberry Kiwi in our batch of syrup.

We used Dixie cups for our snow cones (which is why they're mini, haha!).

The mix after we poured in the Kool-Aid!

My dorky little brother with his snow cone! He thought this was just the greatest thing.

  My snow-cone!

 The ice in the blender!

What do you think? Will you try this recipe, or no? What's your favorite flavor of snow-cone? Comment down below!

Ciao!
Hannah
